He also ensured to make several food policy improvements for its marketing and developments.

Nick's company Lever VC mainly focused on startups related to alternative protein. His investment is not only in plant-based meat and dairy companies but also in clean meat companies. Nick Cooney invested in numerous companies globally. His career in the field of alternative protein is not limited to that. Nick Cooney also worked with many internationally reputed food companies like Nestle and Subway related to alternative protein and related things.

With more than twenty years in the field of alternative protein, Nick Coney could work on consulting and policy initiatives. He published books also on this subject and related issues.  Veganomics is a famous guidebook from him that explains everything about alternative protein.
